A trace, from the bitters and orange extract—less than half of the alcohol concentration of vanilla extract. It only becomes a cocktail once you add your own spirit.

How is this different from a bottle of cocktail syrup?

Finally, no more waste

I usually keep a bottle of Old Fashioned mixer in my refrigerator (I won’t name the brand here). I’ll drink 1 or 2 old fashioneds in a typical week, so I’d get about six drinks out of a 30 drink bottle, before it expired and got dumped.

The packets are 2x less per drink. I make mine with about 2 1/2 ounces of Woodford, and use an orange peel about half the time. I follow the instructions and stir the full 30 seconds - perfection.

Worth a try and reorder.

Not a bad choice for a decent old fashion, you might consider a packet and a half and add a few dashes of walnut bitters.

Perfect for Travel

So glad I found these mixer packets. Used them on the plane and in the hotel room. What a $$ saver. The mix makes a pretty good cocktail though it’s slightly too sweet for me. I, sometimes, make two drinks from one packet. These were purchased primarily for travel though I’ve been using them at home when pulling out all the ingredients seems like too much work. Definitely purchasing again.

This is a product that has impact to flying like sliced bread did for culinary endeavors, and the zipped did for the clothing industry. Simple, yet impactful. I have this photo of my grandparents in the 1950's flying somewhere, no idea where. But they are dress-up, happy relaxed, it looks half James Bond, half The Great Gatsby. Flash forward to today, flying now is sitting in a cramped seat in between Gilbert Grape and Jeff Lebowski. And first class? How can you pay thousands of dollars for a seat and not have at least some cocktail choices? This makes a really good Old Fashion. Order ice and a bourbon/whiskey and you will have a very respectable and drinkable cocktail to numb the pain of conversation with Gilbert or the smell of Jeff.
